Post Delayed!
Sorry readers, but I’m going to have to postpone this week’s review to next week.
Guess the Movie I’m Reviewing on June 8, 2021!
King of the Grizzlies (1970)
(If this is your first time on this blog, I ask you to read my About page first! Thanks!)
Sigh…another Disney animal movie that’s pretty much a documentary in disguise? I’m getting tired of these! Let’s just get this over with. Here’s my review of the Ron Kelly-directed King of the Grizzlies!
And remember, SPOILERS AHEAD!
Greyfriars Bobby (1961)
(If this is your first time on this blog, I ask you to read my About page first! Thanks!)
In 19th-century Scotland, a Skye Terrier later known as Greyfriars Bobby, famously spent 14 years guarding his owner’s grave until his own death. A statue of the dog was later erected in his memory and his story became famous throughout Scotland. In 1912, Eleanor Atkinson wrote a novel based on the story and in 1961, Disney released a live-action film based on the book. Is it any good? Read on to find out!

Guess the Movie I’m Reviewing on April 27, 2021!
Flora & Ulysses (2021)
(If this is your first time on this blog, I ask you to read my About page first! Thanks!)
Author, Kate DiCamillo, is one of only six people to win two Newberry Medals for their writing. Her first was for The Tale of Despereaux (2003) and her second was for Flora & Ulysses (2013). The latter has since been adapted as a feature-length film by Disney and recently debuted on Disney+. Do I think the film is any good? Read on to find out!
And remember, SPOILERS AHEAD!
Gus (1976)
(If this is your first time on this blog, I ask you to read my About page first! Thanks!)
While many American football fans were watching Super Bowl LV on February 7, 2021, some people, including myself, were watching the 1976 Disney film, Gus instead (although my watching it that weekend was purely coincidental). After all, it does center around American football…basically. How good is this Vincent McEveety-directed film? Read on to find out!
And remember, SPOILERS AHEAD!
Guess the Movie I’m Reviewing on February 15, 2021!
Lady and the Tramp (2019)
(If this is your first time on this blog, I ask you to read my About page first! Thanks!)
When Disney+ launched in 2019, everyone was excited to finally have the entire Disney library at their fingertips. But like any good streaming service, Disney+ wouldn’t feature only existing content; it would be debuting original content. One of the first two original films debuting on Disney+ was the live-action remake of the animated 1955 Disney Canon film, Lady and the Tramp. Was this remake a good film to christen Disney+ with? Read on to find out!
