Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made (2020)
(If this is your first time on this blog, I ask you to read my About page first! Thanks!)
Let me start out by saying that while I’m a fan of Stephan Pastis’ work (Pearls Before Swine is probably my favorite comic strip ever), I’ve never read any of his Timmy Failure books. This isn’t surprising though as I wasn’t the target demographic of the books when they were published. So this Disney+ film is my introduction to the series, hence I can’t fairly judge whether or not this is a faithful adaptation. But, I can tell you whether or not I think the film is any good or just an utter…failure.

Sigh…another Disney animal movie that’s pretty much a documentary in disguise? I’m getting tired of these! Let’s just get this over with. Here’s my review of the Ron Kelly-directed King of the Grizzlies!

Togo (2019)
(If this is your first time on this blog, I ask you to read my About page first! Thanks!)
In 1925, a number of mushers along with their dog sled teams were involved in an effort to deliver antitoxins to diphtheria sufferers in the city of Nome, Alaska and the surrounding areas. Many, if not most, of those infected were children. This event became a national news story and one of the dogs named Balto became a national hero. A statue of him was erected in Central Park, New York, and even an animated film based on him was released in 1995.

However, director Ericson Core, tells us in this film about one of the forgotten canine heroes of this adventure: Togo. Is the film worth checking out? Read on to find out!
And remember, SPOILERS AHEAD!
