Actress Nichelle Nichols Dies at 89
In sad news, actress Nichelle Nichols, has passed away at the age of 89! Ms. Nichols (1932-2022) was best remembered for her role as Nyota Uhura in the Star Trek franchise. But, she did appear in live-action Disney in the film, Snow Dogs.
She shall be missed!
Actor David Warner Dies at 80
In sad news, actor David Warner, has recently passed away at the age of 80. Mr. Warner (1941-2022) was known for appearing in a number of films over the years including The Omen, Time After Time, A Christmas Carol, Titanic, and the Star Trek series.
In terms of live-action Disney, he appeared in Tron as well as Mary Poppins Returns.
He shall be missed!

Hollywood Stargirl (2022)

Apparently Stargirl was either popular or successful enough to warrant a sequel. However the sequel film (again directed by Julia Hart) would not be based on the sequel novel to the original Stargirl. Does this original story help this sequel film or hurt it? Cheetah (1989)

While not a popular film, Cheetah, is somewhat notable for having the distinction of being the Disney film that introduced the Swahili phrase, “Hakuna Matata” to the Western World. This was a whole five years before another Disney film would be released!
