Upcoming Live-Action Disney Films in 2018
I shall be taking a break on this blog for the rest of the year and will resume posting my reviews in January 2018. Until then, I decided to do something similar to what I do on my other blog, The Animation Commendation, wherein I give you a guys a look at the live-action Disney films set to be theatrically released next year!
But, keep in mind that these are only the live-action films that I will review for this blog, hence there will be no Star Wars or Marvel Studios-related films on this list. Also keep in mind that these dates are liable to change at any time! Enjoy!

Guess the Movie I’m Reviewing on December 12, 2017!
101 Dalmatians (1996)

As mentioned before, Disney has done live-action remakes of their animated films before this current era of live-action Disney remakes dawned upon us. One was The Jungle Book in 1994, but the more famous and successful one was 101 Dalmatians in 1996.
Directed by Stephen Herek, the film was a financial success, even spawning a theatrical sequel. Now, why did this film not bother Disney fans as much as the current remakes do? I think it has to do that with the fact that it was released at a time when this was a rarity as well as it didn’t seem to promote the idea that the animated film was inferior in any way.
I had never seen the film before, but one of my readers, kirksroom, suggested that I review this film. So let’s find out together what I thought of 101 Dalmatians!

In 1969, the first film in what would later become a trilogy of films involving a student undergoing an incredible scientific metamorphosis was released. It was called The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes. Was this film good enough to warrant two further theatrical sequels? Let’s find out!
