Actor Sean Connery Dies at 90
In sad news, the Oscar-winning actor, Sean Connery, has passed away at the age of 90. Famously known as the first person to portray the fictional spy, James Bond, in a feature film, Mr. Connery (1930-2020) also gained fame for his many other film appearances. He even appeared early in his career in the 1959 Disney film, Darby O’Gill and the Little People.
He shall be missed!

Singer Helen Reddy Dies at 78
The singer, Helen Reddy, has sadly passed away at the age of 78. Ms. Reddy (1941-2020) was known as a feminist icon after her song, I Am Woman, became an anthem for second-wave feminism. She also acted in the 1977 Disney film, Pete’s Dragon. My condolences go out to her family and friends! She shall be missed!

Vincent McEveety isn’t an unfamiliar name when it comes to live-action Disney films. He’s directed about a dozen or so of them, some enjoyable and some not so great. Today, we take a look at the last theatrical live-action Disney film he directed, Amy. Apparently, this film was originally intended to be released as a TV film, but Disney decided to release it theatrically. Was it just that good? Keep on reading to find out!
