Well, it’s a new year, so it’s time to resume this blog. Here’s the sneak peak of next week’s review:

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (2014)

Ah, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day! This was a book that most of us Americans read at least once in our lives growing up. And when we heard they were making a film adaptation of it…I don’t think many of us really cared that much. The story itself seemed unable to be adapted, but then again, I thought the same thing about LEGOs.

So, could Disney pull this off and make this book into an awesome film? Or would the film’s quality reflect its title? Let’s take a look at Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day!

On October 6, 2015, we lost another live-action Disney legend, Kevin Corcoran.

Known best for his childhood appearances in Disney films, the actor was 66 years old when he passed away. To pay tribute to him like I did for Dean Jones, I decided to review one of the films that he was in. I’ve already reviewed two of his films before (Pollyanna and Babes in Toyland), so today I’m doing a film that many find beloved: The Shaggy Dog. Do I find it beloved? Well, let’s find out!

So, Disney and their live-action remakes of their animated classics…
Ever since they became popular, I’ve been staunchly against these remakes and thought that the first two of these films, Alice in Wonderland and Maleficent, were just horrible! Now, comes the third in the series, Cinderella, and they say third time’s a charm! Is this one any good? Will it change my views on these live-action Disney remakes? Let’s find out!

The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit (1968)

On September 1, 2015, actor Dean Jones passed away at the age of 84. Disney fans were quite saddened by this as the lovable actor with “boyish good looks” was a staple in many live-action Disney films acting in 10 total!

To pay tribute to the man, I thought it appropriate to review one of his films. I’ve already reviewed one of his films on this blog already, The Love Bug. This time, I’m reviewing The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit.

It’s kinda weird that for my “newer Disney movies review”, I’m doing 2 sports films back-to-back. I didn’t plan it that way; that’s just how the cookie crumbles sometimes.

Today, we’re going to look at a movie focusing on cross-country running, a sport that I’ve personally never thought about much less watched a film about. Is it any good? Let’s take a look at McFarland, USA!
