Update Regarding this Blog!

Dear readers,

As I’m sure you’ve realized by now, I haven’t been keeping up with this blog as often as I used to. The main reason has been that work keeps me very busy and I no longer work remotely which was an incredible asset to me previously in being able to keep consistent with this blog.

As I no longer have the time to keep up with this blog in the way that I want to, but I still want to continue my journey in watching all the theatrically-released live-action Disney films, I will be making a change to this blog.

I will no longer be posting my long recaps of the film with screenshots and jokes. Instead I will just be giving my thoughts on the film (basically what I do for the last couple of paragraphs of my reviews). I know this may be disappointing to some of you, but with the way my schedule is now, this is the only forseeable way I can see to keep this blog going and my dream alive.

Thankfully, I managed to go 12 years on this blog without a major change, so I think that’s something to be proud of! And this way, I may be able to update the blog more frequently, maybe even weekly.

Anyway, thank you to all for reading and hope you still stick around with my new changes!

Mufasa: The Lion King (2024)

It’s no surprise that Disney decided to make a sequel to their “live-action” remake of The Lion King. After all, the film made over a billion dollars at the worldwide box-office! However, the sequel would not be based on Disneytoon Studios’ The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride; instead it turned out to be an original film detailing Mufasa’s backstory. Was it any good? Read on to find out!

(And like I said when I reviewed The Lion King, yes, I know this is an animated film and not a “live-action” one, but Disney is treating it as such and it’s my blog, so I can do what I want, hence I choose to review it on this blog rather than my animation blog.)

I apologize for the delays in reviews. My work schedule has been incredibly busy in the past few months, but hopefully things have settled down now and I can get back to a regular posting schedule.

This is a film that I’ve never seen before, much to the shock of my friends as we’re all Caribbean/West Indian people and this was considered a ’90s classic! Well, I’ve finally righted that wrong! Here’s my review of Cool Runnings!
