Reviewing Every Theatrical Live-Action Disney Film Ever Made…Or At Least Attempting To
Hello readers,
Sorry, but nearing the end of this semester, I’ve been busy. So, my Tron review won’t be posted until next week. Sorry for the inconvenience!

You would think that Steven Spielberg would have directed a film for Walt Disney Pictures already, but it wasn’t until last year when that actually happened! The BFG is based on a Roald Dahl novel of the same name (which previously had an animated television film adaptation). So you’d assume that when you put Steven Spielberg and Roald Dahl together, you’d get a pretty good movie, right? Well, let’s find out!

This film is one that’s pretty much forgotten today except for one particular reason: it’s one of the films that caused Disney to make a separate label (Touchstone Pictures) to distribute more adult films with. But, is there any other reason to watch and/or like this film? Well, as a request from friend and fellow blogger, AJ of The Vintage Vestibule, I decided to finally watch this film. What did I think? Read on to find out!

Sorry readers, my review of Never Cry Wolf won’t be published until next Monday, the 13th due to school reasons! Thanks for your patience!

Disney has a history of making movies based on true events in various sports fields. In 2016, the “sport” they chose to make a movie of was chess. Would a true story of one of the first titled female chess players in Ugandan history captivate me? True, I’m a fan of chess, but the trailers weren’t really pulling me in. So, what did I think of Queen of Katwe after watching it? Read on to find out!

Released to theaters in 1973, Superdad was the Disney movie made to address the “generation gap”: the differences in outlooks and lifestyles between the adults and college-aged kids during the Vietnam War Era. Was the film a success? Nope, no it wasn’t. Many people consider this to be the worst (or at least one of the worst) live-action Disney films ever made! Just to show how little faith Disney had in this film: they kept the film sitting on the Disney shelves for a whole year before they decided to release it in theaters!
So, I figured it’s best that I hurry up and check this one off the list as quickly as I can! Here is my review of Superdad!
