Having previously made a film adaptation based on a novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, it wasn’t long after for the Disney Studios to try it again. This brings us to the little-known 1960 film, Kidnapped!

The Rocketeer (1991)

Whilst Disney has been killing the box office via their Marvel superhero films in this recent decade, they have ventured into the superhero film genre in the past. Directed by Joe Johnston (Honey, I Shrunk the Kids), the 1991 film, The Rocketeer, is based on a comic book superhero of the same name created by Dave Stevens.

The film sadly wasn’t a box office success, so much so that Disney released the film internationally under their Touchstone Pictures banner to reach a wider audience. The film has since gained a cult following, but is it deserving of said cult following? Read my review of The Rocketeer to find out!

Never a Dull Moment (1968)

While we all know Dick Van Dyke acted in the Disney film, Mary Poppins, few realize that he has acted in two other films for Disney (not counting his cameo in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day).

He’s soon to have a FOURTH Disney film under his belt!

Today, we take a look at one of those two lesser-known Disney films of his: Never a Dull Moment! Does the film live up to its title? Read on to find out!

Muppets Most Wanted (2014)

With the success of the 2011 film, it wasn’t long before Disney decided to make a sequel Muppet film. Released in 2014 and directed by the prequel’s director, James Bobin, Muppets Most Wanted failed to be a big hit as the first one was. Were audiences harsh towards the film or is the film genuinely bad? Read on to find out what I think!
